Michigan, basking in the glory of a perfect 15-0 season and a National Championship victory, has made a significant addition to their 2025 class.
When Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh left for the NFL three months ago, and Sherrone Moore took over as the next head coach, many thought Michigan was done, but that is the exact opposite of what has happened.
Moore is having a great offseason, and one of the biggest things he did was steal Ohio State’s running back coach, Tony Alford, away from the team and hire him for the same role; Moore just stole a player who could’ve been a Buckeye.
According to Hayes Fawcett from On3.com, Four-star defensive lineman Nate Marshall has committed to Michigan.
Marshall chose the Wolverines over Ohio State, Alabama, and Auburn.

Marshall is from Illinois, and according to 247sports.com, he is ranked as the 11th-best defensive lineman in the 2025 class.
Moore stealing a player from Ohio State is significant for him and the program moving forward. It’s not a secret that the Wolverines are heading into a new era without their former head coach, so it is going to take a while for the program to get back to where it was, but Moore has been off to a great start, so far, but now he is going to have to win games to show he can win at this level.
