Patrick Mahomes turns heel, lets Logan Paul borrow Super Bowl rings during WWE Raw

Things didn’t go quite as planned, as Uso ducked and Judgement Day member JD McDonagh took three seasons worth of dominance to the temple. Uso would eventually receive a beating from Mahomes’ rings, but a returning Braun Strowman — who has been sidelined for the better part of a year — came out from the back to send everyone out of the arena and through the crowd.

After the segment was over, Strowman went over to Mahomes, who was standing up over the rails. Strowman didn’t seem happy that Mahomes gave Paul his Super Bowl rings to attack his ally. However, Mahomes didn’t come alone as two of his offensive linemen Trey Smith and Creed Humphrey, who donned custom WWE Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl championship belts, stood up to the former WWE Universal Champion to protect their quarterback.

Uso ushered him away as Strowman pandered to the already electric Kansas City crowd.

While the Kansas City Chiefs stars were in full force at Monday Night Raw tonight, it was for a special occasion.

33 people were wounded during a mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade earlier this year. One person was killed and nearly two dozen were shot during the tragedy. By chance, a young boy named Joey Borgonzi and his family were seeking shelter inside a Chiefs team bus during the chaos. There, the lifelong WWE fan met Trey Smith where he consoled the young Borgonzi, giving him a championship belt and said, “Hey, you’re a champion. Nobody’s going to hurt you, we’ve got your back,” via McAfee.

Alongside Smith and Humphrey, Borgonzi was given the honor of opening the show before the intro, welcoming the fans inside the T-Mobile Center to the show. Not only was Borgonzi recognized, but so were a slew of others involved in the tragedy, including first responders at Children’s Mercy Hospital.
